Visiting an Incarcerated Individual at the Suffolk County Correctional Facility

Sheriff Errol D. Toulon, Jr. has issued a directive that starting June 30, 2020non-contact visiting will resume at the Suffolk County Correctional Facilities. Only non-contact visits will be permitted at this time in order to limit the spread of the Coronavirus in the county jails. Attorneys may continue to make arrangements to visit their clients.


“By limiting the contact with inmates inside our facilities, we can better protect our staff, inmates, and the general public from community spread of COVID-19,” stated Sheriff Toulon.

Non-contact visiting will take place under the following rules:

Visits will be 30 minutes, non-contact, and by reservation only. No walk-ins.

Visitors must bring and wear face coverings at all times.

Visitors not of the same household must maintain social distancing as much as possible.

Visitors not of the same household will not be permitted to visit the inmate at the same time.

Any visitor with symptoms of COVID-19 or potential exposure to COVID-19 should not enter the facility.

Visitors will be required to have their body temperature taken upon arrival at the facility.


Tuesday-Friday: 2:30PM, 3:30PM, 4:30PM, 6:30PM, 7:30PM and 8:30PM

Saturday: 8:30AM, 9:30AM, 10:30AM, 12:30PM, 1:30PM and 2:30PM
